Allan Krumholz, M.D. is a neurologist and Director of VA Maryland Health Care System’s, Epilepsy Center of Excellence. New research and treatment discoveries are routinely driving best practices at the VA Epilepsy Centers of Excellence (ECoC) for veterans suffering from brain injury and seizure disorders. Important education and family inclusion about the brain’s condition and effects on social functions, including employment and driving are vitally important to quality of life.

There are 16 VA Epilepsy Centers of Excellence tied to four regional polytrauma sites for additional focus on brain injury and specialty integrated care.
